The Story Behind MAUNE
Founded in 2026, MAUNE is rooted in Indonesia and shaped through close collaboration with local artisans. It began with a quiet conviction that the things we carry every day should be made with care, and that the people behind them should remain part of what is created.
The team is small and intentionally so. It allows us to stay close to every detail, every decision, every stage of making. Nothing moves too quickly. Nothing is separated from its process. We believe in making less, but making it well. Each piece is developed slowly, shaped through material, proportion, and use until only what feels essential remains.
